“ITALIAN WINE AND GLOBAL MARKETS” 2016 MASTER’S STUDENTS PRESENT THEIR RESEARCH PROJECTS ON FRIDAY 3 FEBRUARY

Students of 2016 master's program in "Italian Wine and Global Markets”, promoted by Italian Sommelier Association (AIS) in cooperation with Sant'Anna School, University of Pisa, and University for Foreigners Siena, are invited to present their research project on Friday 3 February at 9.00 am during the degree ceremony.

The 20 students of 2016 "Italian Wine and Global Markets” course undertook a program of taught study and internships in companies offering a structured work placement environment. The award ceremony agenda includes a speech by Pietro Tonutti, professor of Sant'Anna School Life Sciences Institute and director of the master course, and teachers and lecturers extending their congratulations to all students.

As the 2017 "Italian Wine and Global Markets” course continues its success by attracting large numbers of students, participants have the opportunity to attend a certified sommelier course in addition to 400 hours of classroom instruction. For continuous professional development to be effective it must address the needs of the organizations within which the “new ambassadors of Italian wine culture” will work. Italian Wine and culinary tradition professionals will need to focus upon the acquisition of new or updated "Made in Italy" brand content knowledge.

Since only global companies will achieve long-term success by concentrating on best “made in Italy” superior quality products, food industry and wine sector require experts properly trained; the master's program in "Italian Wine and Global Markets” offers courses that meet the Sant’Anna School high standards, both to provide consistent quality training and coherent framework for professionals and experts.
